We are self-confessed foodies! We absolutely LOVE nourishing our bodies with wholesome, nutrient dense foods. Adding therapeutic grade essential oils has been an absolute highlight of our food lives having brought vibrancy and a whole host of health benefits to dishes! We are really thrilled to share with you some of our favourite ways to incorporate these bottles of magic in to the kitchen!

Peppermint Slice
Base
- ½ cup almonds
- ½ cup walnuts
- ¾ cup medjool dates
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
- Pinch Himalayan rock salt
- Blitz nuts in food processor
- Add remaining ingredients and continue to process until a dough forms
- Press firmly into a lined baking tray ensuring it is as flat as possible
- Place in freezer
Mint layer
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 drops dōTERRA Peppermint oil
- Gently melt coconut oil
- Add syrup and essential oil
- Pour mixture over base
- Return to freezer
Chocolate topping
- ½ cup raw cacao
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 40-60ml maple syrup
- Gently melt coconut oil
- Add sifted cacao powder
- Add syrup
- Whisk with metallic whisk
- Pour over layers and return to freezer for 20 mins minimum
- Cut into squares and serve!
Cinnamon apple crisps
- Pre-heat oven to 100°C (or use a de-hydrator)
- Mix together 2 tbsp of panela or coconut sugar with 3 drops of dōTERRA cinnamon essential oil in a glass or ceraminc bowl
- Thinly slice pink lady apples
- Lay slices on baking paper
- Sprinkle with half of sugar mixture
- Bake at 100°C for 40 mins
- Flip slices over and sprinkle with remaining mixture
- Increase temperature to 120°C and continue to bake until slices are crispy
Chocolate Banana Bread
- 150g ground raw walnuts & 50g roughly chopped
- 150g ground raw cashews
- 60g raw cacao powder
- 3 eggs
- 3 large bananas plus 1 banana sliced to garnish (or cacao chips as pictured)
- 70g coconut oil
- 25g raw honey
- 4 drops dōTERRA Cassia essential oil
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp bi-carb soda
- 10 pitted and chopped medjool dates
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Line a loaf tin with baking paper
- Grind nuts as outlined
- Mix all ingredients (excluding additional walnuts, dates and banana garnish) in a food processor or with beaters until well combined
- Add walnuts and dates and stir through
- Pour batter into prepared tin, garnish with banana slices if using, and bake in the oven for 40 min or until cooked through.
- Allow cake to cool completely before serving
Jaffa Bliss Balls
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 10 organic medjool dates, seeds removed
- ¼ cup raw cashews
- 4 tablespoon raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp* melted coconut oil (if needed)
- 5 drops dõTERRA Wild Orange oil
- Remove seeds from dates
- Blitz cashews in food processor
- Add dates into processor
- Add raw cacao
- Add desiccated coconut
- Add dash of coconut oil if further moisture is required
- Remove contents from food processor and place in metallic or glass bowl
- Add dōTERRA Wild Orange essential oil and knead mixture
- Roll into balls
- Coat with raw cacao powder, desiccated coconut or leave uncoated!
